For some however, the anticipation is waiting to see the commercial break advertising. Which commercial will be the best? Which commercial will be the funniest? Which commercial will have the best graphics? Whichever it is for you, there is one commercial you can sneak peak before the big game day.

Suzuki’s 2012 Super Bowl advertisement, “Sled,” has already been released on YouTube before it’s coveted Super Bowl slot. The ad features an Eskimo who starts out his travels in a dog sled, only to return home in an all-wheel drive Suzuki Kizashi mid-size sedan. His wife is non too thrilled upon his return without his sled, but a new car instead. The terrain the sedan is being driven on is also meant to emphasize the Kizashi’s handling and ability on and with snow. And, if you are an animal lover, this is one ad you won’t want to miss.

The Suzuki Kizashi is offered in all wheel drive or front wheel drive with many other options and specifications included. The Suzuki Kizashi ad will air February 5, 2012 for Super Bowl Sunday. It will continue to air after the Super Bowl as part of a new Suzuki advertising campaign, beginning in March of this year.

After an Accident Remember These Tips New Jersey!

We all drive through New Jersey everyday; whether it’s back and forth from work and home, driving kids around to all their activities or taking a family road trip.  We hop in our car and go, not thinking about or worrying if we end up in an accident.  It’s not something any of use likes to think about, but it is a risk we take every time we sit in that drivers seat.  I hope that no one is ever involved in a car accident but, if it unfortunately happens, try to remain calm and remember to follow these tips.

Stop Your Vehicle

After an accident occurs when you are in your New Jersey vehicle, stop your vehicle and assess the situation.  In the case of a minor accident with no injuries, try to move the cars out of the way of traffic and off to the side, until further assistance arrives.  If the cars are too damaged to move, put on your hazard lights to warn oncoming traffic.  In the case of injury call for an ambulance and let the injured person remain where they are unless they are in danger of getting hit or further injured.

Get Help

Notify the police to report your accident and call paramedics if there are injuries.

Exchange Information

Each driver needs to provide their name, driver’s license number, license plate number, phone number and insurance information.

Report the Accident

File a report with the New Jersey state police department and with your insurance company.  If there is a police officer present and they are filing a report, be sure and get a copy for your insurance company and insurance report.  This will help your insurance company with its claims process and hopefully, help make the whole process a little faster.

If an accident happens to you, try to remember the tips above to help the process go a bit more smoothly.  We wish you safe driving from your New Jersey car dealer, Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall.  Stop by anytime to view our newest Nissans, Suzukis and Kias.

What’s Better for Your Car New Jersey, Conventional or Synthetic Oil?

new jersey car dealer, new jersey nissan dealer, new jersey kia dealer, new jersey suzuki dealer, used car dealership, nj car dealership, parts and accessories

It may come up every now and again, but do you know which is better for your car New Jersey…conventional or synthetic oil?  Sure we leave it up to the experts to tell us what they think. In fact, we may not even question what type of oil goes in our vehicles so long as we know it did.  So what’s right for your vehicle New Jersey.

When it comes to changing our oil there are other factors to consider as well such as what viscosity do we want, which brand and conventional or synthetic.  When it comes to conventional versus synthetic motor oils there are several differences to be aware of in order to figure out which type you prefer  for your specific year, make and model of vehicle.

Conventional oils are petroleum based oils and are also referred to as mineral oils.  Because these oils are petroleum based, they obviously come from crude oil which is a hydrocarbon (a natural compound of hydrogen and carbon).   In addition to hydrocarbons, conventional motor oil also uses other natural additives to enhance productivity of the oil.  This was the first type of oil and the old timers usually prefer this type.  Not only was it the original motor oil, but it also is considered by many the only type of oil in existence.

Contrasting with the natural composition of conventional motor oil, synthetic motor oils are made from truly synthetic compounds (often use detergents for cleaning properties).  Although the resulting properties are similar, there are some differences between this type of oil and conventional oil.  Synthetic oils typically can last longer, but this longer life will not help you if your oil filter is not made to last longer as the filters have a limited life span.

Ever since synthetic oils were first created, there has been a large debate on whether these newer motor oils were better than regular, or conventional, motor oils.  Each type of oil certainly has its pros and cons, and ultimately it ends up being a matter of personal choice.  Regardless which type of motor oil you prefer, the most important thing is to regularly change your vehicle’s oil as recommended by the manufacturer.  Changing the oil on time will keep the engine clean and lubricated which will play a much bigger role in extending your engine’s lifespan than which type of motor oil you use will.

If you are still unsure about which type of oil is best for your car, refer to your owners manual for their recommended type. You can also schedule an appointment for your next oil chance with the service department at Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall and learn all about the differences and why they use what they use on your car. And while you’re at it check out the great new Nissans, Suzukis and Kias at Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall.

If you’re a parent then you are always concerned with their safety. And, if you’re a parent with a teen that is new to driving then I’m sure your worry has greatly increased. However, a survey showed that three out of four teens said their biggest influence when it comes to driving safely is their parents. So they do really listen…most of the time. Which is all the more reason to talk about some safe driving tips below and guide them to become a safe driver on the road.

Discuss unsafe driving situations, which there are a lot situations, but here are a few to get started with:

  • Weather and driving conditions such as rain, snow, fog and ice.
  • Distracted driving and how deadly it is.
  • Aggressive drivers and how to get out of their way.
  • Driving under the influence and how to spot it on the road, and stay away from it.
  • Driving if tired.
  • Speeding and how deadly it can be.
  • Choosing a safe car for your teen driver. Now this is probably a topic that your teen will be most interested in discussing with you. Keeping a driving log is a good way to keep track of the hours driven. You can also take down notes on thing that they need to improved on as well as those that they are doing very well at.

Teach the plan of action to take in case of an accident. Accidents can turn anyone’s world upside down. Prepare them with the process of how it all plays out after an accident occurs and what to do so that they are not caught off guard.

2011 APEAL Award Goes to….the Suzuki Kizashi!

new jersey car dealer, new jersey suzuki dealer, nj car dealership, What exactly is the 2011 APEAL award you ask?  Well apart from the safety ratings that are important to consider when buying a car, the APEAL award just also may be that important to consider as well. This is award is given out by none other than J.D. Power and Associates. The APEAL award is the acronym for Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.

Since the award name doesn’t really explain that much, let me clarify. This study examines just how gratifying a new vehicle is to own and drive. What I think is the most important basis of this test is that is rated by actual owners, which is where you will get the most unbiased truth about any product. In fact, the study is actually based on the problems that owners incur during the first 90 days of ownership.  And the highest ranked vehicle for the midsize category goes to the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi.

Vehicles are judged in 10 categories that measure owner satisfaction which are:

    • Fuel Economy
    • Audio/Entertainment/Navigation
    • Vehicle Interior
    • Seats
    • Engine
    • HVAC
    • Storage
    • Visibility
    • Driving Experience
    • Vehicle Exterior
    •

Even though each year consumers demand more technological advances, the government puts on stricter fuel economy and safety standards as well as unpredictable market conditions, Suzuki is managing to hold their own by building and designing cars such as the Kizashi that people love to drive and own.

Come on down to Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall, your local New Jersey Suzuki dealer and see what people are truly loving about the Suzuki  Kizashi. But you’ve got to hurry. We honestly only have two of the bad boys left. Guess the word is out about how great it is to own a Suzuki!

New Jersey, Check Out These Safety Tips for Driving a SUV!

If you are an owner and/or driver of a SUV you most likely feel pretty safe in it.  These types of vehicles are pretty big and tough and they give you a feeling of security, right?  Though it may be true that trucks and SUVs are big and tough, they need to be driven with a little more care than a car.

SUVs are susceptible to rollovers, which, with with safe driving can mostly be prevented.  It is good to note though that older SUVs, previous to 2003, were made on a light truck chassis which make them have a higher center of gravity thus a higher risk for a rollover. It wasn’t until 2003 that the implementation of stabilizing systems was introduced to SUVs.

SUVs have since improved in safety but there are always precautions you should follow to avoid a rollover situation:

    • Always wear your seatbelt.
    • Avoid sudden turns.
    • Drive the speed limit or even slightly under.
    • Pay attention to road conditions and drive slower and more cautious if bad road conditions exist.
    • Leave more room between you and the vehicle in front of you. SUVs weigh more therefore it takes just a bit longer to come to stop.
    • Don’t text and drive.
    • Don’t overload your SUV or truck. Check to see what the manufacturer weight and weight distributions are. If you are road tripping and have the SUV or truck loaded you can stop by a trucks top to get weighed. This goes for both passenger and cargo weight.
    • Maintain your tires to help prevent a rollover. Tire failure increases your chance of a rollover.  Locate where to find the payload and tire pressure limitations and how to stay within those limitations.

SUVs were originally designed for off-roading, however since they were brought to the mass market and were adapted for passengers they are lacking in a few of the originally safety elements that just didn’t translate into the passenger design, for example a roll bar.  However, the safety standards on SUVs has changed and has become more safe with features such as roll stability control, ABS, all-wheel drive, air bags and more.

Stop by Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall for a look at our great selection of SUVs and the great safety options they offer!
