Nissan And Kia Top Forbes List Of “Cheapest” Cars To Own New Jersey!

Forbes magazine recently came out with their list of “The Cheapest 2012 Cars to Own.” Forbes isn’t talking about cars with the cheapest bottom line however; they are referring to the most cost effective cars to own over the long-term. And your very own Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall carries the two top models on the list, the Nissan Versa and the Kia Soul.

The ultimate point of comparison is a cost per mile per vehicle. Visit www.kbb.com for a more complete and detailed explanation of how they calculated the cost to own, for each vehicle.

Design The Next Nissan 370Z New Jersey!

It seems as though whenever we buy something from clothing to houses to New Jersey new or used cars, there is always something that we would like to change or would have designed differently. Well, now Nissan is letting you do just that!

The Nissan 370Z is a 332 hp, 3.7 liter, V6 engine sports car. It is a great value for mainstream buyers who want to own a sports car without paying a high sticker price. Now Nissan has just announced that they are going to call on fans and customers of the Nissan 370Z to design the ultimate Z car. Nissan is calling this “Project 370Z,” where you can offer and vote on design ideas and modifications while following the progress online. “Project 370Z” is being offered via Facebook at facebook.com/nissanperformance.

The project will be built in phases; power, handling/brakes, interior and exterior. All of the fans “Likes,” Facebook wall posts, and comments will be reviewed and ranked for each part or accessory. The most popular will then be added to the next Nissan 370Z.  Nissan had the following to say about the project:

“Car companies build project vehicles all the time, but we thought it’d be interesting to harness the power of social media to reach out to Z® enthusiasts – the people who are doing this to their own cars everyday,” said Jon Brancheau, vice president, Nissan Marketing, NNA. “Together we’ll create a vehicle that expands on the already outstanding performance and style of the Nissan 370Z with a balance of street and track ready modifications. Then we’ll share the finished project at upcoming Z® car enthusiast gatherings around the country.”

The new Nissan 370Z that Nissan’s fans have created will be revealed at the “ZDayZ” event in late May of 2012. If you would like to be one of the next designers of the Nissan 370Z New Jersey, log onto Facebook and let Nissan know what you think. Wrap Your iPhone In The Same Technology As Your Nissan New Jersey!

nj nissan car dealer

How many times have you dropped your IPhone and noticed yet another scratch or dent on the case you thought long and hard about? Just as Nissan applied their Scratch Shield technology to some of their cars, they have applied the same technology to a new case for your IPhone.

Nissan’s scratch shield technology is a clear coat applied to some of their cars that repairs scratches, returning the look of the car as close to new as possible. It also helps to keep the car looking new longer than usual. The main features of the paint include clearing scratches from the surface within one day to one week, and keeping the number of scratches to the surface down by five times, compared to cars without the paint. Another added feature to the proposed iPhone case is that the scratch shield paint provides a better grip and handling, making it harder for the phone to slip out of your hands in the first place. The paint is made from polyrotaxane, which fills in the gaps of any scratches that may occur. It’s ability to do this is due to the paint never technically drying although it appears and feels so. Nissan has been using the paint technology on its cars since 2005.

The paint is currently being used in Japan on the N-03B phone offered by mobile carrier Docomo. Some prototypes have already been given to journalists and beta customers for trial and if all goes well, we may be able to purchase this new self-healing iPhone case sometime this year. So when you need a new Nissan car to match your new iPhone case by Nissan, swing on by Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall for a great selection to choose from New Jersey.

After an Accident Remember These Tips New Jersey!

We all drive through New Jersey everyday; whether it’s back and forth from work and home, driving kids around to all their activities or taking a family road trip.  We hop in our car and go, not thinking about or worrying if we end up in an accident.  It’s not something any of use likes to think about, but it is a risk we take every time we sit in that drivers seat.  I hope that no one is ever involved in a car accident but, if it unfortunately happens, try to remain calm and remember to follow these tips.

Stop Your Vehicle

After an accident occurs when you are in your New Jersey vehicle, stop your vehicle and assess the situation.  In the case of a minor accident with no injuries, try to move the cars out of the way of traffic and off to the side, until further assistance arrives.  If the cars are too damaged to move, put on your hazard lights to warn oncoming traffic.  In the case of injury call for an ambulance and let the injured person remain where they are unless they are in danger of getting hit or further injured.

Get Help

Notify the police to report your accident and call paramedics if there are injuries.

Exchange Information

Each driver needs to provide their name, driver’s license number, license plate number, phone number and insurance information.

Report the Accident

File a report with the New Jersey state police department and with your insurance company.  If there is a police officer present and they are filing a report, be sure and get a copy for your insurance company and insurance report.  This will help your insurance company with its claims process and hopefully, help make the whole process a little faster.

If an accident happens to you, try to remember the tips above to help the process go a bit more smoothly.  We wish you safe driving from your New Jersey car dealer, Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall.  Stop by anytime to view our newest Nissans, Suzukis and Kias.

When it comes to medium sized SUVs there are a lot of options out there New Jersey. In fact, the mid-sized SUV category has the most options available in all of the three SUV categories. So it’s no wonder that the competition is fierce making the debut of a new model so very newsworthy.  Like the all-new Nissan Pathfinder Concept which has just leaked a shadowy teaser picture revealing the profile.

The all-new Nissan Pathfinder Concept will be unveiled at the 2012 North American International Auto show in Detroit on January 9th as well as on nissanusa.com too.

Nissan states that the showcar “takes all of Pathfinder’s traditional SUV hallmarks and wraps them in a new platform and dramatic new aerodynamic body,” which may hold true to the rumors of the new Nissan Pathfinder Concept sporting a unibody architecture.

The all-new Nissan Pathfinder Concept is also set to sport a seven-seats as well as a 4-wheel drivetrain keeping with the brands image of a go-anywhere SUV.

Now, it is hard to tell the details of the all-new Nissan Pathfinder Concept we can’t but help think that it may have the traditional roofline with integrated cargo rails, however we suspect that the back end might prove to be an entirely new design.

Production, as per Nissan, is set to make the all-new Nissan Pathfinder Concept available at your local New Jersey Nissan dealer in the fall of 2012, but come January 9th we’ll all be able to see what Nissan has been able to keep a secret of the highly anticipated new Nissan Pathfinder Concept.

What do you think the New Nissan Pathfinder Concept will look like?  Post your comments below and as always we’d love to see you so stop by Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall too!

What’s Better for Your Car New Jersey, Conventional or Synthetic Oil?

new jersey car dealer, new jersey nissan dealer, new jersey kia dealer, new jersey suzuki dealer, used car dealership, nj car dealership, parts and accessories

It may come up every now and again, but do you know which is better for your car New Jersey…conventional or synthetic oil?  Sure we leave it up to the experts to tell us what they think. In fact, we may not even question what type of oil goes in our vehicles so long as we know it did.  So what’s right for your vehicle New Jersey.

When it comes to changing our oil there are other factors to consider as well such as what viscosity do we want, which brand and conventional or synthetic.  When it comes to conventional versus synthetic motor oils there are several differences to be aware of in order to figure out which type you prefer  for your specific year, make and model of vehicle.

Conventional oils are petroleum based oils and are also referred to as mineral oils.  Because these oils are petroleum based, they obviously come from crude oil which is a hydrocarbon (a natural compound of hydrogen and carbon).   In addition to hydrocarbons, conventional motor oil also uses other natural additives to enhance productivity of the oil.  This was the first type of oil and the old timers usually prefer this type.  Not only was it the original motor oil, but it also is considered by many the only type of oil in existence.

Contrasting with the natural composition of conventional motor oil, synthetic motor oils are made from truly synthetic compounds (often use detergents for cleaning properties).  Although the resulting properties are similar, there are some differences between this type of oil and conventional oil.  Synthetic oils typically can last longer, but this longer life will not help you if your oil filter is not made to last longer as the filters have a limited life span.

Ever since synthetic oils were first created, there has been a large debate on whether these newer motor oils were better than regular, or conventional, motor oils.  Each type of oil certainly has its pros and cons, and ultimately it ends up being a matter of personal choice.  Regardless which type of motor oil you prefer, the most important thing is to regularly change your vehicle’s oil as recommended by the manufacturer.  Changing the oil on time will keep the engine clean and lubricated which will play a much bigger role in extending your engine’s lifespan than which type of motor oil you use will.

If you are still unsure about which type of oil is best for your car, refer to your owners manual for their recommended type. You can also schedule an appointment for your next oil chance with the service department at Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall and learn all about the differences and why they use what they use on your car. And while you’re at it check out the great new Nissans, Suzukis and Kias at Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall.

Which is all the more reason to talk about some safe driving tips below and guide them to become a safe driver on the road.

Discuss unsafe driving situations, which there are a lot situations, but here are a few to get started with:

  • Weather and driving conditions such as rain, snow, fog and ice.
  • Distracted driving and how deadly it is.
  • Aggressive drivers and how to get out of their way.
  • Driving under the influence and how to spot it on the road, and stay away from it.
  • Driving if tired.
  • Speeding and how deadly it can be.

Fear Not When it Comes to Parallel Parking New Jersey! Nissan’s Around View® Monitor is Here!

new jersey car dealer, new jersey nissan dealer, nj car dealership,

New Jersey, what is one thing that you dislike most about driving? If you answered parallel parking then you are most definitely not alone when it comes this somewhat daunting task.  If you are not very practiced when it comes to parallel parking you probably just choose to park anywhere else but a parallel parking space! But one of the best benefits of being able to parallel park is that you just may end up with the best parking space ever! That is if you are able to parallel park. I have friends that have to pass up some great parking spots, and I’m talking right in front of the restaurant, because they just don’t parallel park! To become more comfortable with parallel parking I highly suggest practicing.

Practice makes perfect, most of the time, but you will also gain the confidence it seems to take when you are faced with a parallel parking space opportunity. And not to mention, you may also impress some of your passengers too. If you’ve practiced and practiced but still don’t seem to get the hang of it then you are in luck. Really, you are!  And no, I’m not talking about having your passengers needing to get of the car and assist you, thought I have seen this done.

What is then you ask?  Well it may end up costing more as you will need to purchase a new 2012 Nissan Rouge.  This sleek, stylish SUV is now the first in its class offer the Around the View monitor. And it does exactly like it is name after.

Check out the video to see how awesome it is!

The new Nissan Rogue for 2012 has the newest technology available called, Around the View monitor.  For those who want it to have the best invention to assist you in parallel parking.  The monitor literally has 4 camera’s around to the entire vehicle to give you pretty much a 360 degree view of what’s around your car. They are mounted on the side mirrors and the rear and front of the car. The system takes data from the four cameras and converts them to display a virtual image as a view from above the vehicle. With the overhead image, it makes it much easier for the driver to position the Rouge for parallel parking. It also helps the driver navigate the when parallel parking. In addition the camera can also convert to help see what’s in front as well as what is in back of the Rogue and if you’re moving will assist in the distance to the curb for example.

The new Around the View monitor is a very user friendly system, but is also amazing technology that we are just so excited for!  Come by Sansone Jr’s 66 Automall today and see for yourself!

    What’s Stopping You, New Jersey?

Literally, have you checked out what’s stopping you when you are in your vehicle New Jersey?  Your brakes are the only thing that is stopping you from colliding with anything that is in front of you. Which means that your brakes are one very important aspect of your car that needs immediate attention should a problem arise.

If you suspect any type of problem with your brakes whatsoever then you should not hesitate to make an appointment at your local New Jersey auto service department as soon as possible. First, your safety as well as the safety of others is top priority as a responsible driver on the road and you don’t want to jeopardize that. And second, if you ignore a brake problem it could become a very costly fix that could have potentially been less costly to fix should you have had it fixed earlier.  There are a lot of us out there who procrastinate, however your brakes shouldn’t be one of these times.

If you suspect your brakes are acting up, here are some warning signs that you need to get them checked out:

    • Hard brake pedal – this could be a caliper issue
    • Continuous grinding or squealing of brakes – this is an indication that new brake pads or shoes may be needed
    • Brake warning light comes and stays on – an imbalance of the braking system could be the problem
    • Spongy or low brake pedal – this can mean that there is air in the hydraulic system

These are just a few of some common brake problems that you should be on alert for. If, at any time, you notice these symptoms with your brakes you should have it check out, the sooner, the better.
